AI Data-Use Policy

BrainVault includes an AI Innovation Advisor and Idea Coach. This policy explains how those features use data and their limits.
What the AI does
It helps refine ideas, suggests clarifying questions, drafts narrative, and surfaces similar ideas and experts. It proposes; people decide.
What we send to AI providers
When AI features are enabled, the relevant idea text and your workspace's business context may be sent to the configured AI provider (e.g. Anthropic or OpenAI) to generate a response. Only what's needed for the request is sent.
If no AI provider key is configured, the app uses a built-in heuristic and sends nothing externally.
What the AI will not do
It does not set financial figures — the deterministic Value Calculator owns all monetary values.
It does not invent customer names, guarantee outcomes/ROI, or claim ISO certification, legal compliance, or regulatory approval.
Controls
AI usage is rate-limited and logged per workspace for cost and abuse control. Original submissions are preserved; AI output is clearly labelled as a suggestion to review.
